D&I Tool Requests

| Overview

The D&I (Design & Implementation) Tool Requests feature provides a centralized platform for users to submit, track, collaborate on, and manage, analytics requirements, dashboards, alerts, reports, and other product innovation initiatives within the ClimaVision ecosystem.

Accessible directly through Saffron Assistant, the feature acts as a bridge between users and product teams, ensuring that valuable ideas, feature requests, and operational improvement suggestions are captured, reviewed, prioritized, and tracked transparently.

Users can create a new D&I request to serve their site purpose, and also access and view the already existing requests that were submitted,

Users can view, like, bookmark and comment on the D&I requests submitted by others.

Users can filter the request based on the statuses and the tool, as shown below.

Click Add D&I Tool Request to access the form

Select the tool type from the select tools drop down.

Users can select from the following list tools available for use.

Advanced Tools
Point Summary - Point Summaries are used to quickly view and organize important system or zone data in one place. They help users monitor selected points, compare values, filter information, and create calculated metrics for easier troubleshooting and system analysis.
Portfolio Dashboard - The Portfolio Dashboard is used to give users a high-level view of performance across multiple buildings or sites in one place. It helps track key metrics, compare locations, identify issues or trends, and quickly understand how an overall building portfolio is performing.
Site Sequencer - Site Sequencer is an internal tool used to create custom building automation logic and control sequences through a visual, block-based interface instead of traditional wire-sheet programming. It lets users build calculations, rules, alerts, and condition-based controls using points from both 75F and third-party equipment.

- Hayloft is a platform for creating and managing standardized digital models of building equipment and data. It uses Project Haystack tagging to organize points, devices, and equipment consistently, making it easier to integrate systems, analyze data, and maintain interoperability across different building technologies.
