Description

Get to know ClimaVision as an install/start-up technician. ClimaVision is a building controls solution that is optimized for small to medium-sized buildings and for installation by mechanical contractors that aren’t necessarily experts in controls.

Class Overview

This course provides an overview of the ClimaVision product offering and detailed training taking an installer/start up technician from creating a new system all the way to commissioning it to ensure it is working and ready to be turned over to the customer.

Objectives

After successfully completing this course, you will be able to:

• Create a new ClimaVision system
• Pair controllers
• Choose the correct profiles (control algorithms) and configure them properly
• Create a floorplan heatmap
• Navigate and work with the ClimaVision Web UI
• Use the commissioning tools built into the system
• Create custom schedules
• Get an understanding of alerts/alarms and notifications
• Create new users in the system

Course Prerequisites

• It is recommended that students have hardware including at a minimum a CCU and two devices (HyperStat, MyStat, Smart Node, etc.) that are powered. We offer two kits that can be purchased with some of the parts you would need. See below for the parts and descriptions.

Preparing for Hands-on Training

Factory Reset of CCU to ensure we have a fresh start. Refer to the document called: “Factory Reset of CCU instructions.pdf” for instructions. Note, you will need to connect to Wi-Fi first before resetting the CCU.
