Equip Graphics for Terminal Profile

| Introduction

Equipment Graphics is now available for all terminal profiles. It provides a graphical representation of the equipment associated with each terminal profile and enables monitoring of key operational parameters.

Equipment Graphics has been enabled for all terminal profile types. For each profile type, it presents a detailed pictorial view of the equipment along with the features.

Below is an example for the VAV Reheat No Fan Terminal profile.

The following key point parameters will be dynamically monitored on VAV Reheat No Fan profile, depending upon user configuration:

| Accessing the Equip Graphics

To access the Equip Graphics

• Log into the ClimaVision Web UI portal.

• Select the building in scope.

| Hover View

• Hover over the zone in scope for a quick view of the graphics and widgets.

It provides a quick reference of the equipped Graphics followed by the predefined widgets.

| Click View

• Click on the zone to better visualize the graphics and the predefined widgets.

The Equip Graphics also comes with the Alert rings below the equip, along with the severity legends for the alerts, as shown below.

It also displays the monitoring parameters and equipment parameters details, as below.

| Equip Graphics Types

The equipment graphics for the terminal profile can be of two types.

Predefined Equip Graphics

An out-of-the-box graphics for every terminal profile with predefined points and alerts for monitoring.

Custom Equip Graphics

Manually created graphics, users can define graphics, points and alerts of their choice.

Example:

| Assets 

Assets are the supporting files for the graphics that can include plate data, equipment photographs, and any other references of the equipment in use.

The Asset Data is auto populated for the defined fields from the Assets added for the equipment, if information is available in the asset.

Adding an Asset

Assets can be added from the notes & cloud storage section in the site overview screen, as shown below.

• Click Upload File in the cloud storage section.

The file attachment window is displayed.

• Please browse and attach the required file, and associate it with the equipment, as shown below.

| Custom Equip Graphics

To define graphics, points and alerts of choice.

• Click Add Equip Graphics

• Search and select from the pool of shared graphics, as shown below.

And use graphics for their spaces. 

• View equipment graphics selected or remove from the view using the settings as shown below.

• Duplicate graphics.

• Rename, Add new graphics and points as per the requirement.
• Click View Graphics to add new graphic of choice.

• Click the Add icon to upload the new graphics.

Note: Upto 10 different graphics with a total limit of 20MB can be uploaded for use.

The graphic is uploaded, as below.

• Select the Graphic to use in the view

• Click Settings to add conditions for the Graphics

The condition definition window displays.

• Click the add condition icon to add conditions.

• Edit the points for display 

Note: All not applicable points display as NA

• Remove the not applicable points on the graphics as shown below.

• Remove the not applicable points from the Side panel for monitoring as shown below. 

Note: At least one parameter needs to be dropped onto the desired section to go back to parameters.

• Drag and drop the required parameters to the desired section as shown below.

• Click Back to Parameters to go to the main configuration window.

• Click Add Parameters to add new parameter to the list.

Note: The tool ttip specifies that 25 more points can be added out of a maximum 40 of which 15 been added already.

• Add the required tags
• Execute the query to filter the point to be added, as shown below.

The points can have no conditions, as shown below

or with conditions as shown below.

Note: The conditions can be based on custom values as above or based on the values of parameters that are already added within the graphic creation, as below.

• Click Create As New to confirm the graphic creation.

The Graphic gets created successfully.

Alternatively, the users can build a custom equipment graphics from scratch

• Click Add Equip Graphics.

• Click Create New Equipment Graphics.

• Use the step specified in the above sections to create a Graphic from scratch.

| Use cases of Equip Graphics

• Use the Energy Meter Equip Graphic to monitor electrical and energy consumption data from connected meters. 
• The graphic provides visibility into parameters such as active energy, active power, apparent power, reactive power, voltage, and current values.
   
• Users can select the required parameters from the Parameters selection table to configure and display them in the Equip Graphic.
  
  

• Use the Parking Lights Equip Graphic to monitor and control parking lighting systems.
• The graphic visually represents the light's operational state by changing the image based on the Light Command value (ON or OFF) and displays the Light Illuminance Sensor reading.

• Users can select the required parameters from the Parameters selection table to configure and display them in the Equip Graphic.
