| Overview

The HyperStat is part of Carrier's vertically-integrated suite of intelligent building solutions, delivering multi-mode sensing, remote monitoring , and individual zone control for the comfort and productivity of building occupants, for more information refer to HyperStat Installation & HyperStat UI

The HyperStat hardware is capable to work as a dependent device configured with a Carrier's CCU configured for various system-level profiles, or with any external Modbus or BACnet devices as a Modbus or BACnet slave, and it can also work as an independent or standalone device which can work as per profiles that can be configured in the HyperStat itself.

This software side support on the HyperStat device provides enhanced control of standalone equipment that is controlled and monitored by the Carrier solution for both modulating and multi-staged equipment.

The feature is introduced to address the HVAC needs of the customer who would like to use the Carrier's HyperStat alone for automating the HVAC operation based on certain profiles.

The profile supported for the standalone operation are.

  • CPU (Conventional Package Unit)
  • HPU (Heat Pump Unit)
  • 2Pipe FCU (Fan Coil Unit)
  • 4Pipe FCU (Fan Coil Unit)
