Changing System Device Software

This feature is only available to persons with the following certification levels:

• Installer Level 2 or higher certification

This outlines the process for updating "All" devices of a given type. To update a single device select the device you wish to change the software in from the Heatmap and continue as shown below in step 2.

When selecting "Update All " the updates are done one at a time and can take up to 12 hours per device to complete.

This also will allow you to revert the device to an earlier version of software, the software will be changed to whatever version you select.

1. From the WEB UI select your CCU. 

2. Continue to scroll down to the “Select Command” drop down and open it.

3. After opening it you will see a listing of options, select the one you wish and expand it to where you will see the available software options.

4. After your version is selected simply click on the proceed arrow

5. The software upgrade/downgrade process takes a while as it updates one device at a time over the 900Mhz network. It can take several hours per device; the process will be faster if you first update the CM to the latest version.

6. When updating software in the HyperStat and HyperStat Split, do not use the “Recommended” version instead use the highest numbered version that that fits the following,  1.xx versions are for the HyperStat and the 101.xx versions are for the HyperStat Split as shown below

7. The same applies to updating the Smart Node v1.0 and v2.0. Use the 5.xx versions for the Smart Node v1 and the 100.x version for the Smart Node v2. The Smart Nodes can be differentiated by their build. Smart Node v1 has the push in style wire connections and v2 has the lever type connections under the magnetic cover
