When a Software update to a system device is required it is accomplished through the WebUI. There are two different ways to perform the updates. Level 2 certification is required.

First there is the "Update All" option which will update all devices of the selected type on the network and second is to update an individual device.

OTA (over the air) updates take several hours (up to 12 hours) per device and will happen sequentially when more than one device is being updated. Since this is a very lengthy process it is recommended to only update software if a new feature is required or a fix to a problem has been implemented.

The update process is accomplished via the WebUI, once logged into the site WebUI select the a CCU

Scroll down to "Select  Command" which is directly below System Tuners.

Select the device type you wish to update and expand to  select which version you wish to upgrade or in rare cases downgrade to.

In the example below you can see once the device is expanded there can be several version choices, select the recommended version unless you have a specific reason to choose another.
