| Overview

MySense is a trimmed version of MyStat, designed specifically to provide advanced sensing and monitoring capabilities without control functionality. It is used in conjunction with a SmartNode or other room-level controllers that have limited onboard sensing.

MySense has limited capabilities in terms of UI navigation and operation.

Understanding UI navigation is important for users.

| UI Navigation

UI navigation and temperature adjustment behavior depend on the active MySense profile. The navigation flow is consistent, while available controls vary by profile. 

Conditioning Mode

From the Device.

  • Press the Menu / List icon button to access the conditioning mode setting screen. Fan Speed and Conditioning Mode can be accessed using their respective icons.

The conditioning mode setting screen displays as follows.

  • Use the Up (▲) and Down (▼) arrows to navigate through the options available and select. 

Note: Use the selector arrow to move up or down to the desired option. Once the arrow points to the selected option, leave it unchanged for 5 seconds. The mode will be applied automatically.

Fan Mode

From the Device

  • Press the FAN icon button to access the Fan mode setting screen.

The Fan mode setting screen is displayed.

  • Use the Up (▲) and Down (▼) arrows to navigate through the options available and select. 

Note: Use the selector arrow to move up or down to the desired option. Once the arrow points to the selected option, leave it unchanged for 5 seconds. The mode will be applied automatically.

Accessing Additional Screens

All screens in this section behave identically for SmartNode profiles.

From the Device

  • Press and hold Up (▲) and Down (▼) arrow buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds to enter the Installer Menu.

Inputs Screen

Description

The Inputs screen displays input details, including the sensed temperature, humidity, occupancy, and the inputs wired to the universal inputs of the MySense. 

  • Press the Down (▼) arrow button to access the options, and press the  Menu / List icon  button to modify the options.

Navigation
  • Press the Menu / List icon to navigate to the next screen.

Version Screen

Description

The version screen displays the Room, Pairing Address, FW version, and Serial number details. 

Navigation
  • Press the Menu / List icon to navigate to the next screen.

HVAC Options Screen

Description

The HVAC options screen displays the Temperature Offset, details, and the sensing capability enablement options. 

Navigation
  • Press the Menu / List icon to navigate to the next screen.

Installer Options Screen

Description

The installer options screen displays the Hardware Test, Brightness, and Factory reset options. 

| OTA Capability for MySense

A remote-tuner command to update the MySense is also available via portals.

  • Log in to the Portal, hover over the three dots, and select the Tuners option from the list.

 

  • Click the drop-down option under Select Command.

 

  • Hover over any OTA to view the updated version and its recommendation.

The OTA can also be initiated from the CCU & zones widget screens, as shown below.
