Setting Zone Schedule from ClimaVision Web UI

| Overview

A zone schedule is a combination of schedule durations and desired temperatures for a particular zone in the building. The Zone schedule is like the child schedule to the Building schedule. On any particular day the zone schedule, which includes the schedule duration and desired temperatures, must always fall within limits that are set under the Building schedule. Once a zone schedule is set the zone would start following the zone schedule, and when a zone level control equipment like a damper and variable frequency drive would act based on the set zone schedule, thus reducing the load on the system level device (AHU/RTU) to a considerable extent.

| Accessing Zone Schedules

The Zone schedules can be accessed from two places in the ClimaVision Web UI portal

To access zone schedules from the zones screen.

From the ClimaVision Web UI heatmap screen,

• Click Zones

The Zones screen is displayed.

• Select the zone for which you wish to add a zone schedule.

The zone screen displays zone details as below.

• Click the option Zone under the section Schedule.

From the ClimaVision Web UI heatmap screen,

• Click the zone to access the visualization screen.

• Scroll to locate the Schedule section under Zone Settings.

| Setting a Zone Schedule

To set a new entry for Zone Schedule

• Click Add Entry+

The Desired Temperature window is displayed.

• Use the slider bar and set the heating and cooling desired temperatures.

Note: The set desired temperatures can overlap without varying the other (the Heating Desired Temperature without varying the Cooling Desired Temperature, and the Cooling Desired Temperature without varying the Heating Desired) based on a certain criterion set. • Select a scheduled duration for which you want to set the desired temperature for.
• Select a day or days for which you wish to set the schedule.

• Click Save to confirm and create the schedule for the zone.

Note: You can also edit an existing zone schedule to a new schedule, by simply clicking on the existing schedule, modifying the schedule timings, and desired temperatures, and saving it. 

Note: From the zone widget screen the user can also visualize a non-editable Building schedule section, by clicking the building schedule tab as below.

You can also add a schedule for up to 24 hours.
